That would make it slightly over 2 years since I've posted anything on this particular spot (awesome Math Mojo, btw). That would probably be because of the following:

1) My son's continuing health problems
2) Work
3) My Master's Thesis
4) My Master's Degree (see above)
5) My mother's death
6) A recent fire next door that complicated our lives to an unbelievable degree, particularly as regards item 1, although that is nothing next to the possibility that the woman who loved next door is deceased as a result
7) A Kryptonian's ability to procrastinate (really, it should be a superpower...it is THAT effective)
8) Guilt that I have not been keeping up with friends as a friend should have, thus further immobilizing me

**sigh**

Anyway, I just wanted to check in. I will either close this one down or integrate it with another blog, or just chuck the whole thing and go for a domain. In the meantime, I have to contact a friend who got married a few months back, unbeknownst to me.

More to come...

OK, this day was a little weird. Something in the air, something about having an amazingly beautiful day outside after a three-day weekend, compounded by the open culture of the school itself. The net reult? Spring fever, left and right. Kids so antsy they look as if they are trying to scrape themselves out of their seats. Even the good ones.
